Brilliant & Affordable little item for those IDE hard drives from dead laptops to retreive vital files and items sets up in a couple of minutes with ease.

More information on how/when to use an additional USB power supply would be helpful,but does exactly what it says it will.

All the parts were there . The case is solid and comes with a protective sleeve. All in all not bad for the price.

Does exactly what it says on the box. Just open the case, plug your old hard drive into the end plate re-fit the cover and screw together with the screws and screwdriver provided. My USB didnt need the extra power supply but ran of a single USB plug. I used this to rescue a hard drive from a dead laptop the whole thing took less then 10 mins to get going.

Great value, comes with screw driver and drivers on cd, but no drivers were needed. I used an old laptop hard drive which was un-formatted and fitted it in to the case and just connected it to pc and formatted it like a normal usb stick. I expected to have lots of problems from comments I have seen on some web sites, so was chuffed when it connected like an external drive. Good value I think
