I recently built a system using a Novatech Panther ATX case, Which came with a 500W PSU. The noise was almost unbearable, with the loud PSU fan, and two case fans. This little kit significantly reduced the sound emitted from them. Obviously, for four pounds, don't expect a miracle, but for the price, it does a pretty good job of taking the edge off the noise. Also, for an added bonus, the rounded heads on the fan mounts Look much neater than screws for front/side mounted fans. The fan mounting pins are very hard to put in place if there are other components inside the case, as you need quite a lot of room, so if its a new build, install these first, or at least before the processor and heatsink. I get the impression that The fan mounting pins may be pretty hard to remove, so get it right the first time! In all a very good product for the price. I doubt you could get much better without spending lots more.
