Why put up with USB 1.1 when you can upgrade to USB2.0? If you frequently download or upload large file using the older USB 1.1 interface then I strongly suggest that you consider this affordable upgrade to USB 2.0 which gives an order of magnitude increase in data transfer speeds. The card itself is very simple to get up and running, it is merely a case of plugging into the relevant slot of your laptop and letting Windows Plug and Play feature take control. My only slight gripe is that the card protrudes slightly further from the side of my laptop than conventional cards!
