I just installed this on the i7 2600 i have in my HP pavillion system, dont worry all the components are now in my UTgard from xigmatek. only issue i had was getting it to align with the mounts and also i never used the included back plate as the motherboard had one from the previous cooler, max temperate in the whole case is now the gpu at 50 degrees at max load, the i7 now tops out at 42 degrees at max. Result!!! and delivered day early too.

Nice kit. Fitted it makes a lot of difference. Issues I had were fitting it in the case as it is fairly bulky (make sure your case is large enough). Fans are not top knotch. Had to replace both immediately as they were V Noisy. Will take this up with Novatech, corsair..

Ordered one of these on 5th December and it arrived the next day by 10am. Top service Novatech, can't fault service like that. To the cooler, it's knocked well over 20c off my system temps and thats with me overclocking my q6600 to 2.75ghz from 2.4 stock. Stock cooler idle temps were at 57c on stock clock speeds. Now overclocked with the h80 fitted it idles at 32c. Does what it says on the box, my only gripe would be that i found the pre applied thermal paste isnt enough. I coated my cpu with artic silver 5. So i would recommend anyone else to do so aswell

Great product - well impressed my case Coolermaster CM 690 II Lite Dominator @ core i7 950 3.6Ghz D0 stepping idle 50oc with AC 7 Pro after 35oc - gaming was 70oc mark- after - 60oc max @ 4ghz I mounted the CM rear case fan - on top extracting heat - and I have the H80 fans blowing air out of the case not in - now enjoying consistent max fps in css like before but no big fps drops cause by server lag- smooth baby yeh - point- mount the 2nd fan on radiator after you installed the block onto CPU because it covers the mount screws on MB - I had to remove the closest ram stick - use the big foam from H80 box to cover ram cpu slot to rest cpu block cooler on when installing fan radiator as can get in the way - google OC-ing your cpu before, acquire tried&testes settings and enjoy - PS OC at own risk- worth the money :)
