Arctic Cooling Freezer 13
Carries on the legacy of the renowned Freezer 7 Pro Rev.2 to continue providing efficient and low noise CPU cooling solution for enthusiasts. The maximum cooling capacity of this newly improved cooler is 200W. In combination of wide compatibility with AMD and Intel sockets and superior cooling performance, the Freezer 13 ultimately brings overclocking to a new level.
Advanced Cooling and Inaudible Performance
Featuring four U-shaped high performance heatpipes and 45 efficiently formed aluminum fins; the Freezer 13 is able to dissipate massive heat that is produced in high-end CPUs, such as Intel Core i7. To facilitate the process of removing waste heat, the Freezer 13 is equipped with an ultra-quiet 92mm PWM fan. The fan speed runs from 600 to 2000 RPM to keep components within their safe operating temperature limit.
User-Friendly Mounting Mechanism
Installing Freezer 13 cannot be any easier. With ARCTIC’s own design of push pins, mounting the cooler on to the system is quick and simple. The mounting system is very convenient as it fits on all current platforms – it is unnecessary to take apart the main board. Its sturdy mounting frame is able to withstand the weight of the Freezer 13, even under worst conditions, such as a drop test. A layer of ARCTIC MX-4, the latest thermal compound by ARCTIC, has been pre-applied to facilitate the process of installation as well.

Bought this to replace my stock cooler on my FX6100 and what a difference. Stock speeds of 3.3GHz went from 45degrees idle to 28degrees idle at 4.1GHz and only 45-48 degrees under load. Easy to install on the AM3 Boards, only downside is you need to remove the fan from the heat sink to screw in the front clip. I managed to snap the clip in the process but nothing some super glue can't fix. Intel users will need to remove the mobo and replace the backplate, AMD users are fine, it uses the current one. Highly recommended and a very efficient product.

I have an amd x4 phenom clocked to 3.4. Idle temps using this cooler are 29c but when under load the temp goes upto about 51c but that's probably down to poor air circulation in my case and my over clocking Under general use (typing documents etc) my temp doesn't go over 34 so it depends what you intend on doing with your pc. However it is much much quieter that the stock cooler and I am very impressed with this product .. It can be fiddley to install on an amd motherboard I suggest taking your mobo out of the case unlike me who tired for an hour to fit it while my mobo was still in the case. Oh and the little metal brackets that you use for amd motherboards attach it to the cooler first .... Quite loosely I mean as angling a CPU cooler with a separate bracket and tiny screws can get annoying and be time consuming. But all I all I do like my product and am very happy with it.

Fantastic CPU cooler, swapped my stock 2500k HSF over for this and am now getting 10oC lower idle temps and will not go above 50oC no matter how hard I push the CPU with Prime 95 (CPU is O/C'd). For the price I cannot recommend this strongly enough. Installation is also a piece of cake with no MB backplate required.

Easier to fit than the majority of coolers, plus it will fit almost any socket type, a bonus should you change your machine at some point. The only minor drawback is that it can only be fitted to face in two direction rather than four.

With this my QX9650 runs over 20 Celsius cooler than with the standard heatsink, which has let me significantly overclock it. Highly recommended.
