Combining a massive six heatpipe dual radiator design with an exquisite NF-P14/NF-P12 dual fan configuration, the NH-D14 is built for ultimate quiet cooling performance. Topped off with a tube of Noctua's award-winning NT-H1 thermal compound as well as the new SecuFirm2 multi-socket mounting system, the NH-D14 is an elite choice for the highest demands in premium quality quiet cooling.
Six heatpipe dual radiator design
Providing more surface area, better heat-distribution and superior airflow efficiency than conventional tower style heatsinks, the NH-D14s six heatpipe dual radiator design was developed to provide ultimate quiet cooling performance in dual fan mode.
Dual NF-P14/NF-P12 fan setup
The NH-D14 sports a premium quality dual fan setup consisting of Noctua's award-winning NF-P12 (120mm) and NF-P14 (140mm) fans, both of which feature Vortex-Control Notches, SCD technology and SSO-Bearings in order to achieve a perfect balance of performance and quietness.
Asymmetrical design for high compatibility
An asymmetrical design that gives more clearance towards the RAM slots ensures good compatibility despite of the coolers size. The NF-P12 fan can be moved upwards or left off in order to further improve compatibility.
Excellent component cooling
Hanging out at the bottom of the fin-stacks, the NF-P14 fan doesn't only contribute to the NH-D14s superb CPU cooling capabilities but also provides massive airflow over surrounding motherboard components and heatsinks, thus ensuring excellent component cooling performance.
SecuFirm2 multi-socket mounting system
Noctua's enthusiast grade SecuFirm2 multi-socket mounting provides broad socket compatibility (LGA1366, LGA1156, LGA775, AM2, AM2+ and AM3 (backplate required)) and meets the highest demands in safety, contact pressure and ease-of-use.
NT-H1 thermal compound
Noctua's much-acclaimed NT-H1 is a well proven pro-grade TIM solution that provides minimum thermal resistance, excellent ease-of-use and outstanding reliability.

Great product easy to install i currently have my 2500k clocked at 4.5GHz and will not pass 64 degrees but i imagine many people will find better results as for me to get it stable i need 1.380v because i wasn't lucky in the silicone raffle

Unbelievable performace. I can't get my beast of a CPU above 30C. And so quiet! Can't hear it over my hard drives. A few points to consider before buying: THE FANS ARE NOT PWM CONTROLLED. Both the fans on this sink use 3-pin connectors. I just detached both of the fans and used them as case fans, and I am using two Noctua 12cm PWM fans instead. (bought seperately). Also, the cooler is asymmetrical in order to leave some room for RAM chips. If you replace the fans like I did, make sure you fit the fans the right way round, otherwise the cooler will hang over your RAM slots. Finally, even with the asymetry, the radiator probably won't fit with RAM with tall heatsinks. On my board the radiator hung over the first RAM slot, and I could fit a chip in the slot as long as the chip didn't have a heatsink.

The best air cooler on the market. Better than the self-contained water cooler. Full water set up gives better results but they cost several hundred. I''m running my AMD 1090t at 4GHz at lower temps than stock cooler does at stock speed! Size is an issue as this will not fit in a regular case, it''s freaking huge! the size of a baby''s head!

Excellent cooler. My 1090T is ticking away nicely at slightly over 4.3GHz, and my games play extremely fast as a result. The NH-D14 is extremely easy to instal, and Noctua include a tube of NT-H1 Thermal compound as well.

Great fan - massive though! Could only fit onto my Mobo in one orientation (1155 socket) and only using one of the fans at the moment. Has great support with a decent backplate which was easy to fit. Also has a rubber seal to potect mobo and prevent any short-circuits. Overall great cooler, very happy!

This is a fantastic product. It is the best air cooling you can get. If you can fit it into your case. It is MASSIVE!! The instillation is easy, AMD boards moreso than Intel. You use the original AMD backplate and screw this on. For Intel you use the supplied back plate. The hermal compound that comes with this is great stuff. Easy to apply and enough for 3+ applications. To conclude, Great product, keeps my Phenom 2x4 940 OC''d to 3.6GHZ at only 34* under stress. (In a well ventilated case) It is well worth the money and I''d recommend it above most water cooling systems. Hope that helps.

Massive cooler, just squeezed into my Antec p183, also needs ram without tall heatpipes. Installation suprisingly easy, and keeps cpu cooler than any other I''ve tried, running an i7 930 at 4Ghz.
