The Hyper 212 EVO cooling systems are designed and optimized to provide the best user experience and cooling potential for a new generation of processors. The Hyper 212 EVO now features four Cooler Master patented Continuous Direct Contact™ (CDC) heat pipes that are tightly packed into a flat array on the CPU Cooler base. This acts as a virtual vapor chamber that dissipates a large amount of heat. The aluminum fin structure has been optimized to provide the perfect performance balance between high and low speed fan operations.

  • Well-balanced cooling performance provides fin optimizations with perfect balance between high and low speed operations
  • 4 Direct Contact heat pipes with the patented CDC (Continuous Direct Contact) technology - creating a perfect, sleek surface for heat conduction

Im running this with a 3570K processor. Idle = 32c and on full load has not been over 44c. My MB is an Asus P9Z77 LK, and this cooler does not get in the way of any of the ram slots (which was an issue with my previous pc). Excellent cooler for the price. Fitting is straightforward if you take your time, and it is very quiet.

Very Good Cooler. Keeps My i5 2500k @ 3.7 ghz. 45 Degrees Full Load (stress test) Not A Single Degree Higher I Have Not Fount The Need To Over Clock My Processor Yet As It is Incredibly Fast Already But With This Cooler I Know I Can Overclock Her In The Future Should I Need To :) It Is Defiantly Worth The 10 Mins It Took To Put Together and it also cools other components as well witch is a bonus. Defiantly Recommend For A Cheap Aftermarket Cooler.

Very good product. Had a major CPU heat problem where my i7 was reaching 90c . Bought this along with arctic silver thermal paste and now it doesn't go any higher than 40c. The only negative thing is, as some reviewers are saying, it is incredibly fiddly. Other than that, it's a brilliant piece of kit!

Amazing cooler. My i5 ivybridge rises to a max 42c with a 4.3ghz. i dodnt have to take mobo out of my coolermaster scout case and as longas you read the instructions, fitting is quite quick. i had a dodgy fan on the first one but novatech were brill an swapped it for me.

Very good cooler! This took my i7 920 down from 80 degrees to a cool 30 degrees Celsius idle. Tested on Guildwars 2 Maximum Spec and my System doesn't go above 40 Degrees C :-) The only negative I should say is, be prepared to spend some time fitting, I agree with Tom Wiseman. You will have to get to the back of your motherboard!! Other than that very happy.

Absolutely fantastic! I was seeing 85 degrees (sometimes over 90) on my stock i5 2500k with stock cooler; installed the Hyper 212 EVO and the highest recorded temperature under the same circumstances was 44! I'm using it with Arctic Silver AS5 thermal compound. I have to agree with some of the reviews I've seen on the 'net - fitting the cooler can be a little fiddly due to the universal mount. Just make sure you take your time and check that everything's lined up before you dive in with the thermal compound! I've also seen temperature drops for other components, due to the way that the EVO blasts the hot air straight towards the rear exhaust fan (rather than down onto the motherboard, as with the stock Intel cooler).

One of thee best CPU Heatsinks ever, I recently added two Cooler Master Sickleflow 120mm fan to it, and my Phenom X4 BE is now registering at zero degrees celsius, at overclock instead of 15c at non OC idle! A must have for any overclocker or someone who likes a cool standard no OC system!
