Linux friendly. Although the specifications don't mention Linux, the manual does (Linux 2.4.x or later). I reformatted the drive as ext4 and use it with LuckyBackup to keep a copy of my important files. I also use it with my laptop to access the files away from home.

Quick, easy solution to your back up needs. Comes formatted as FAT32 which is a bit odd but easily resolved. Also has 2 USB connectors on the cable but seems to power fine off the one so no worries there.
