This drive is 12.5mm thick & WILL NOT fit standard 9.5mm thick laptop drive space. I have just found out the hard way. Nearly all the other drives are 9.5mm even the samsung 1TB is 9.5mm Ought to have a warning on description to avoid mistakes.
