Not the same as the item in the picture but that doesn''t matter. If you''re a heavy user buy a better unit or treat this as consumable. This is my second one of these the first stopped working after a year but hey for this sort of money that''s not bad.

Simple & easy to use, works with the more common cards. Altho the item you receive may not be the one in the picture as new features are added to the function so they upgrade the case as well, but it functions the same. For the small price you pay, you get a basic multi-card reader suitable for most everyday use. Build quality - It is a bit flimsy (push together top & bottom parts). Function wise - Great for me, does the basic cards I use as described in the spec list. Userbility - In use it shows four Removable Drive devices, plug your card in and it replaces that wif the title of the card (if it has one and OS dependent), so is basically Plug & Play. From there on, use it as you would a normal drive. USB2.0 and backwards compatibility USB1.1 & 1.0 work as well, but obviously much slower. I don''t consider a USB3.0 will permit it to work at USB3.0 speeds however since it does have a crystal in it for speed sync. NB:- On the receipt it came up as 52in1 card reader, so that gives you some idea of it''s function. Over all, yeah, I''d purchase another one, it''s price and function far outweigh it''s one tiny flaw. I have tested it on a multi-boot running Windows 98SE, ME, XP, W7 (ain''t no way I''d touch Vista!) It also functions within W7 XP mode. I also used it on a Dell 1.0GHz USB1.1 lappy running Win XP, and a Notebook running a version on Lynx, though I''ve no idea which one, all functioned well, if obviously a bit slow. Hope that helps someone...

Very good card reader - does everything you need. Had a minor problem with mine initially where the SD slot wouldnt read the card properly but quickly sorted with a screw driver. Dont let this put you off though....... im sure this was just a one off

It does what it says on the tin (case). It reads all the major types of storage cards used on cameras. Piece of cake to use just plug in the USB supplied put your card in (hot swaps no problem). The Card Reader appears in your system like extra drives removeable drives depending on what your own drives are labeled each drive has its own letter assigned by your computer. There is no manual and you will after inserting card have to determine which drive is the one that your card is inserted in.then its simple drag and drop or rightclick on mouse to choose action for what is on the card.I use an explorer page to browse my pics. its very simple to use and I have taken it with me and used on several computers. I have only used it on XP but it should work on windows 98 onwards. You can also delete any pics on your card when inserted into reader.Which I find much quicker than going through all the pics on my card using my camera to delete individual pics I no longer want ,so card can be inserted into your camera with extra free space. This is a real bargin works well and is very fast at transfering files from card to computer. You could of course use it to transfer photos from computer to your card.I have transported this all over with no breakage problem experienced or forseen in everday use. What are you waiting for go buy one today.

Now labelled as 48in1. Has 4 slots for SM/XD, SD/MMC, MS/MSPRO, CF/MD and includes a seperate USB cable. It is fairly small at around 93mm x 55mm x 15mm and is made from a brittle plastic and doesnt feel very sturdy, but if treated gently it should last until the next genration of memory cards makes it obsolete. Simple pugngo with XP but it does take a min or so to recognise the 4 main media types.
