Works quietly and effectively for watching blu-rays. Had to phone to get software sent out after the drive arrived without it. PS. PowerDVD 10 (bundled) doesn't work with windows 8.

Perfect, works at you would expect. FYI Austin how can you knock off one star as it came bare in a bag, hence the abbreviation OEM. What were you expecting for les than £28, for me it best bargain on net for optical drive, basically bluray opti onfor less than £10 on top of normal DVDRW

Works ok as a Blu Ray drive for watching the occasional movie. Used regularly as a DVD drive though it is very slow even though it makes a lot of noise spinning the disk it just takes ages before anything happens. Also worth mentioning for any potential buyers is that it is only a reader and not a writer. Mine did come with the software and was received very quickly from Novatech.

Bargain for the price! came next day even though i only paid for eco delivery. But as the previous reviewer said it comes with no software although described as "OEM with Software" so one star of for that reason.

Works fine, as described. No software though. Just comes as a bare drive in a plastic bag, so 1 star off for that.
