I have owned a few PSU'S and i have to say this is an absolute steal!! the unit itself is great quality well made and is heavy and solid. the psu cables are braided these are not show stopping but are exactly as they should be. this psu is semi-modular and the cables are long enough to route behind the motherboard etc. you simply cannot do better for the money this is a great unit at a great price with stable power i have paid more for units with far less quality than this. well done novatech!!

This power supply looks like a quality one, solid and has more than all the leads you need. Comes with small bag full of them. It is almost silent when running and runs cool which is important to me. I bought this to try SLI eventually and know i won't need to worry. Have yet to really thrash it with overclocking etc. I have no doubt it will cope tho. Will comment on this again if i can. Well done Novatech i should be ok for future upgrades now. Quality power supply, and very good value. Power supply was delivered promptly too.

The build quality of this PSU is impressive. The manufacturer is Sirtec and this model is a re-badged version of the Absolute Power 1000.( Model: HP-1000-G14C).This is where the 80 rating comes from. The same units are also re-badged for some of the OCZ range. So this is not an unknown OEM no name product! The fan is indeed very quiet and there are more modular cables than you will ever need. Fitted nicely into my P280. So buy with confidence, its not Winpower !!

This power supply is flawless. At the moment it is only powering my overclocked 2700k i7 and my overclocked GTX 570, and it has been doing so for the past 6 months. But it also does so in style. It is very quiet, modular and reliable, and for the price you can't even go wrong. I am wary of purchasing unreliable power supplies but am glad that I picked this for my "home-made" gaming computer. The cooling on the power supply is also very clever and efficient, and the finish on it was strong enough to scratch off the one on my case - that is why I keep recommending these to my friends.

This power supply is amazing. I upgraded from a 500W so I could upgrade graphics cards and have enough headroom in case I choose to get SLI. It is amazingly silent and the modular design is very handy for cable management in a small case. At this price point I'm amazed, however the only downside to it is that the sleeving is quite transparent and looks a little off, but that's just a small thing and most of the cables are going to be behind the motherboard tray anyway. Overall an amazing PSU and I would recommend to anybody.

What a great unit! 1000w of Power and loads of modular cables and a handy zip bag for the spares.The fan is quite, stable and has a cool-down function which will keep the fan going at low RPM until it has reached low temps. Made by OCZ/Corsair (can't remember which), you can't expect much more. Fantastic for the price, recommended to anyone!!

This PSU is quiet and is running noticeably cooler than the 700 Watt one that it replaced. Another plus is that it is not fully modular; the cables that are always needed (24 pin, 8/4 4 pin, and PCIe graphics) are plumbed in meaning that there are less connections to go wrong/introduce losses.

I can only say words of praise for this PSU, I have it powering 4 HD6870s a phenom ii x6 and 6 dimms. Everything is over clocked and I have a considerable water cooling system with plenty of lights and fans. Then there is the price, which is a relief to my wallet as most 80 1000 W supply's cost a considerable amount more. It is also very quiet, well packaged and has a comforting warranty. This PSU is surprisingly good quality for the money. It has a modular for connecting optional extra cables, making it flexible. The little zip bag for keeping the spare cables in is a nice touch
