Great chip. A must buy for the price. Got this with a Asus Sabertooth Z77 mobo with 16gb RAM and it flies. I read lots of review about running temperature concerns but so far I get good temperatures using an air cooled system. Runs at 23c - 25c on general use and not seen it above 38c whilst gaming. The Windows 8 64bit Experience score for this chip in my rig is 8.2

Very fast stock, easy stable and cool 4.6ghz with £80 water cooler. Make sure you get a fast SSD and use the latest versions of your software which will make use of the performance features i.e AVX

Runs at 3.925 straight out of the box. have this paired with the Gigabyte z77x-ud5 and runs sweet as. Highly recommend!

quick and well not a lot to fault this processor. my ASUS Maximus V Gene board is happy and fast. graphics excelent. i have not pushed it up by overclocking it as it is fast anyway.. so next to shock myself on the speed. i just got to get a faster hardrive now to boost my speed.

Bought yesterday, and am more than happy with it. Out of the box, it's running at 3.9GHz, and nothing I've thrown at it so far has taken it above 10% (massive RAW image processing etc). This, with a Sandisk Extreme III 120gb means the PC is QUICK.
