It does what I wanted it to do, told by one of the staff that the button and the green light does not work, he was wrong, they both work fine, the button is for instant video capture and will carry on until you press the button again, the green light just lets you know that the video capture is on and working.

The hardware itself is great, brilliant picture quality and the sound is great. The software is the only thing that lets it down, and is no fault of KWorld or Novatech.

I purchased one of these in November - did not think I would use it too much - so far have used it to capture old family videos from a video player and convert them to DVD format - used it at work to capture s-video output from a piece of scientific equipment that is made in Japan - supports the Japanese video output formats NTSC-J etc - all in all a great USB2 video capture device I have my monies worth already - you can get in/out SCARTS and various cables from MAPLINS to compliment this device - the in/out SCART caught me out at first you need this to capture from a video player they are about 10 to 15 with the cables.
