Very surprised to find that the picture quality was very good in general and brilliant for the price. I have used various PC TV solutions over the years and didn't think I would get this image quality for less that £100 but it looks as though I did. Fast moving images (i.e. scrolling titles after programs), are blurred but that may also be due to my monitors. The image quality is far superior to Video but not quite so good as DVD. Good enough to DVD though for me not to worry about it. HD looked the same as normal. Again, my monitors are not wiz-bang expensive ones which probably doesn't help. The letdown with this card though is the software. I can't get the EPG nor favourites working (although the Favourites wouldn't be particularly user friendly anyway), and manually ordering the channels is a right pain. DVBViewer does a far better job at doing these. It also doesn't give me all the Freesat channels I'd expect. I mainly get the BBC, ITV and Channel 4 channels but not Channel 5 or a host of others. I do get movies4men, true movies, shopping and dodgy chat channels but to be honest I only got this card for the terrestrial channels so I shouldn't really be complaining. But talking of complaints, even though the software works, produces good picture and audio quality and it records, it just doesn't feel like quality software. Also it gives a whole host of settings which are meaningless to me but probably a godsend to a satellite enthusiast. It would be nice though to have a postcode option which will then configure and tune the card the same as a normal off the shelf Freesat box. Oh, and I can't for the life of me get it to work with Windows Media Player. Apparently there is nothing to say it should but there are forums to say that it does work. However, no one says much about getting it working. The Compro forum is not the best source for info either.

Card or software will not receive certain freesat channels - CBS Action to name one. Recordings often do not record file 0 bytes is all you have. Not very good - Compro online support a waste of time - wish I had purchased a product that works properly (Rating -1)

easy setup, loads of free channels, bargian price too

At first windwos didnt find the card , but after a reboot everything worked out just fine, quick easy set up through media center, and over 900 channels now available

This card is great stuff. The software that comes with it is a bit poor, but if you use Windows Media Centre to scan for channels...it''s a great card! At the price, you really can''t complain! Freesat on your PC for £23.99...I''ll have some of that!!! :)

Installed this without a great deal of computer knowledge. Had it up and running within half hour. with easy to follow instructions. great to be able to watch news/tv while on pc..

This a fantastic Product for the asking price, can pick up all the current satellite channels including BBC HD. Recommended to be used on Windows 7's Media Center with a H.264 Codec for the HD Channels :-)

This card works great on Vista HP SR1. The software supplied works but it works even better if you use DVBViewer V4. I have all the Freeview satillite channels but you must use software that allows the selection of a H.264 codec for HDTV, ComproDVT 2 does not, DVBViewer does.
