Novatech Total Protect - Warranty
Upon taking out this policy your Novatech Laptop, Netbook, Tablet Or All In One is covered under warranty for an additional 1 year in addition to the standard 1 year manufacturer’s warranty, providing added protection should your machine suffer a mechanical / electrical failure. This spans the full 2 Year period of cover, and does not terminate on the making of a claim. The warranty will expire 2 years from the initial purchase date.

What is Covered:
We will cover the equipment against mechanical / electrical failure including the cost of parts, labour & free collection and return to any UK address.

NB: Please note the cost of repair will be limited to the purchase price of the equipment.
The warranty is a service provided by Novatech Ltd. Financial protection is available in the unlikely event of the provider ceasing trade.

WHAT IS INCLUDED
This warranty covers the Laptop, Netbook, Tablet Or All In One for any mechanical / electrical failure that may develop during the cover period of the plan. This service spans the full 2 year period of cover and does not terminate on the making of a claim. Included in the service, is free collection and re-delivery upon completion of corrective work on the Laptop, Netbook, Tablet Or All In One. This warranty applies to Novatech brand Laptop, Netbook, Tablet Or All In One only.
The additional warranty is an optional purchase, to compliment a Novatech brandLaptop, Netbook, Tablet Or All In One. There is no obligation to buy. This can be purchased in conjunction with a Novatech brand Laptop, Netbook, Tablet Or All In One anywhere within a 30 day period of the initial PC or Server purchase date, however the warranty will expire 2 year(s) from the initial Laptop, Netbook, Tablet Or All In One purchase date. This warranty does not have to be purchased at the same time as the goods.

GENERAL NOTES
This warranty is a service provided by Novatech Ltd. The 2 year warranty is a service provided by Novatech Ltd. Financial protection is available in the unlikely event of the provider ceasing trade. This warranty provides services in addition to your Statutory Consumer Rights. Your statutory rights provide you with entitlement to a remedy for defective products, and states that goods must be fit for purpose and as described. Remedy for products with faults inherent at time of purchase can be claimed for up to six years from the original purchase date. After the first six months from purchase, the burden of proof (of inherent fault) is upon the customer. To this effect, Novatech advise that faults should be reported at the earliest available opportunity in order for us to be able to serve you, the customer, more effectively. This warranty is NOT an insurance policy and physical damage is not covered. It is possible that any existing household insurance policy may duplicate some of the benefits offered by this warranty and therefore it is advisable that these be checked prior to purchase. Consumables suchas batteries and ac adapters are not covered by the warranty.

CANCELLATION
Customers may cancel their warranty service agreement within 45 days of purchase. Pro rata refunds are available should you wish to terminate the policy after the 45 day period has passed. Novatech Total Protect -Theft & Accidental Damage
Upon taking out this policy your Novatech Laptop, Netbook, Tablets or All In One is covered for 1 year against theft & accidental damage. This insurance covers you if your equipment is: dropped, damaged by fire or flood, or in the event that it is damaged by a liquid spillage, stolen from an attended vehicle, stolen from an unattended vehicle where the equipment is in locked boot, stolen in a burglary, or is snatched from you in person.

Exclusions include: malicious damage by the insured, damage from viruses & if the equipment does not switch on / is broken down, damage or destruction due to defective design or workmanship, general wear and tear, mechanical and electrical breakdown, theft from an unattended vehicle where the equipment is not in a locked boot, equipment left behind on public transport or in public places.

If your equipment is damaged we shall collect, inspect and repair your machine. If your equipment is beyond economical repair or has been stolen we shall replace your machine on a like for like basis. Under no circumstances must you organise the repair or replacement of your equipment as we shall not reimburse you. There is no automatic cover under your policy for equipment that has been replaced as a result of a successful claim. If you would like your policy to cover replacement equipment, you will need to pay the Insurer an additional premium.

All insurance documentation will be sent via email or where this is not possible via post.
