Excellent quality monitor. Deep blacks. crystal clear legibility for text on web sites (a must for my old eyes) and the above HD resolution makes for a stunning gaming experience. An impressive piece of kit which excels in all areas Blu-Ray movies in particular are vivid and have an almost 3D quality to the image. Luckily I bought before the present small price hike and as usual the service and delivery by Novatech was first class. The matte screen keeps those awful reflections at bay which spoil the likes of the Apple monitor useing a similar panel.

This is an excellent monitor for photographers. I've been using it at www.robdunning.co.uk in a dual screen set-up, primarily in Lightroom. I'm looking at replacing my LG (2nd monitor) with the Dell U2711 so that colour profiles for both screen produce identical results.
