This is a really solid, well made, neat stand and would have got five stars - however it has a single major design flaw: the cable channel at the back exits the wrong side/direction and can't be changed. If you clamp one of the ultra small form factor cases so that the connector sockets on the rear are the same side as the cable outlet, to keep the exposed cables as short as possible, then the CD/DVD tray is the 'wrong way up' when it opens. You do get excellent access to the underside of the tray, but then you have to reach over the tray to place the CD/DVD. If you clamp the PC case round the other way to allow you to place DVDs easily then you have to extend the connector leads round the front of the stand to reach the sockets, which is untidy and defeats the whole point of using the stand. I'd bought one of these with the intention of building ten neat, ruggedized, portable PC/screen units, but I didn't bother after the first one because it's too expensive for it not to be 100% perfect. It's a pity someone didn't design it so cables could exit in either direction, because it's really a good quality stand.
