Twice as fast as the previous generation, these new 2-bay and 4-bay ReadyNAS models are equipped with a fast processor and the industry’s first USB 3.0 ports for blazing file transfer and backup rates. Available diskless or populated, ReadyNAS Duo v2 and ReadyNAS NV+ v2 feature a sturdy steel chassis, hot-swappable drive bays and automatic expansion for painless management and zero downtime.

State-of-the-Art File Sharing
A true network storage, ReadyNAS Duo v2 enables access to data from anywhere: all the computers in a home network, but equally well from any computer or other mobile devices (smartphones, tablet PCs) via the Internet. It is central storage solution in your home network for the simultaneous data access from multiple PCs, Macs or Linux computers. It facilitates local file-sharing and file-sharing across distances via the Internet accessing data from PCs, smartphones and tablet PCs using FTP and ReadyNAS Remote.

Media Center
The media-streaming functionality provides a comprehensive foundation for home entertainment applications. Stream your music, your photos and your videos to a media player within your network or a network-enabled flatscreen - directly and without a computer.

Photo Sharing
The Duo v2 and NV+ v2 generate a personalized website on which you can provide and share photos for friends and families. ReadyNAS Photos II revolutionizes the private photo sharing landscape by allowing users to securely share their photos or albums without resolution restrictions. Granting upload/download access is a breeze and photos can be uploaded from a mobile handheld or even directly from an Eye-Fi wireless memory card.

Data Protection
Every Duo v2 or NV+ v2 comes with a premium backup license included. But now you can do even more to protect your data - the optional ReadyNAS Replicate license provides real disaster recovery for your valuable data – if you want, also for your friends and relatives – just as in real business environments.

Simple Setup & Management
With the RAIDiator 5 user interface, set up is complete in less than 8 clicks. What’s more, common storage tasks such as setting file permissions or creating new user accounts are a breeze.
