Bought new Windows 7 pc from Novatech & couldn't use it with BT's wireless hub unless linked by Ethernet. BT help useless & then thought of NovaTech. Discussed with sales person, received these NetGear PLAs and now using very happily (putting this notice on through them). What a doddle! Thanks NovaTech. I wish you had a place up in Tyne & Wear.

These work fine: but here's a tip. They didn't play well with my four existing "200M PLC Adapter" AV homeplugs. The broadband speedtest dropped from 30Mbs to 3-5 Mbs after I installed them. Yikes! After much head scratching and fiddling about I found that if used one of the old adapters as a 'main' (i.e. plugged into the router) and these as 'slaves' the speed jumped back up (30Mbs internet, 40-60 network). The old plugs also use the AV standard by the way. So 4 stars not 5. Otherwise perfect. Bought 4 more for for No 1 son's flat in london.

Excellent product. My wife was having trouble playing MMO,s via wireless on her laptop . This was an ideal solution suggested to me by Novatech Staff rather than getting a new dual band wireless modem router at twice the cost. Just plugged in and connected the cables and no more rubber banding :-)

Did the job. Had setup in 5mins. Would have been quicker if I had the power on the socket turned on. I have a Virgin SuperHub. Connected that to one of the adapters. Plugged the other end into my old router (with dd-wrt firmware) and extended my network upstairs.

Good product - easy setup just requires plugging in and everything else for me at least was automatic. My PCs were on different main circuits, but the powerline adapters worked fine. I did contect Netgear Tech support to ask the difference between v1 and v2 of xavb1301 but no-one new - their support wasn't great but product seems fine.

Bought a set of these as moved into new home and didn't want to start drilling holes for cables. What a godsend!!! Plugged them in and get a fast reliable service. I even have a number of piece of hardware connect to these through a switch

I baught a pair of these about 2 weeks ago and we have had a few problems with them couldnt get on internet as they dont have a good connection with each other and there on poor connection even the the modem is about 6 meters away on the hall.

Really easy to setup, comes with two lan cables. Just plugin and your done. Great price!
