Worked immediately on plugging into Windows 7 with no drivers to install other than what Windows 7 did behind the scenes. Go to wireless connections, enter WPA key and was online in 2 minutes of getting the adapter out of the box. Nice and simple - exactly the way it should be. Not the strongest signal - had to move the PC case a couple of inches from the wall to get the signal to max strength (about 20 ft from router, but not direct line-of-sight) but excellent value for an N-series adapter, especially considering it has a recognised brand name.

Worked fine on Win 7 x64, just remember to uninstall antivirus and/or firewall before installing drivers, then reinstall antivirus and/or firewall (it''s a known issue with Win 7 x64 and USB wireless installations). Range is also very good.

Purchased the Edimax wireless USB adaptor after days of problems using a Netgear WPN111 on Windows 7. The adaptor worked perfecty straight out of the box and windows 7 recognised it and set up the drivers automatically (the salesman at the counter in Portsmouth advisded me not to try using the CD - thanks). I have been using it for a couple of weeks now and it seems to be stable, also very reasonably priced. All in all and excellent product and service from Novatech

Comes with extension and stand. Works well, and achieves good signal quality in difficult surroundings (old cottage with 1 meter thick solid stone walls). Edimax support Linux, which is fantastic. Only problem is Windows XP software does not seem to remember the WPA pass phrase.

I have this on my daughters computer which is upstairs in her room. The router is downstairs in the living room, the signal strenght is just over 50% but it has been rock solid with its connection and has not dropped it yet. It was very very easy to install and was up and running on XP home in less than 2 mins. Yes it really was that quick and easy. Put in the CD choose your router from the list of networks that it finds, put in your wep key/password and thats it done. It can be used in the docking station or plug it straight into your usb port. The aerial is adjustable for direction and it feels very well made and of a high quality. Very pleased with it, and if i need another wireless usb network adapter i will buy another one of these.

This High Gain N lite usb adapter is so excellent I now own 2, having my router located 3 rooms away still get 135.0 mbps (if you have a Virgin/ntl connection pair it with a belkin n150 cable router and you cannot go wrong), also compatible with vista 64 bit.
