Great little box. Lots of cables and nice remote. I threw a 2TB drive in and it was quickly up and running. Very simple to use. For anyone that is wondering a few points. You can use the USB3 conector on the back to directly plug this into ur pc (you dont need USB3 on ur PC as its backwards compatible with USB2) Your PC then sees this as a slave drive and you can drag and drop any number of files you wish making it easy to fill up with all ur media. There is an easy to use search function on the box when it's plugged into ur TV to find any particular media you are after as well. You can also plug external hard drives into it to further increase its capacity. This box is AMAZING. It does what it does simply and with style. Coming with both standard and HDMI connectors, the box plugs into your tv quickly and easily. The internal hard drive bay allows you to fit a standard SATA drive in it for storing media locally, I put a 500Gb drive and within around 5 mins of starting it was in, formatted and had files on it! The menu is simple, but a little clunky and is akin to looking through a PC''s hard drive. It plays back everything that I throw at it and the quality is way superior to my old Pinnacle media player. The only issues I have is that there are no parental locks in it. So you cannot lock a folder away from your kids, and protect them from more mature or violent content - this is a very serious over sight and one Asus do not appear to take seriously. You also cannot do multi-file selection for copying files from one source to the internal hard drive. Files have to be copied one at a time (unless you copy a complete folder) which is a bore. Otherwise this is highly recommend and is simply amazing.
