Great box that will play everything you throw at it.... BUT, and it's a big BUT, it will not render video at 1080p through xbmc out of the box: all content is rendered at 720p and then upscaled. The bundled media player plays true 1080p, but I was unable to get surround sound passthrough via the SPDIF. Believe me, I tried every Android/xbmc combo that I could flash it with and there are a lot as the hardware is generic AML8726-MX based. Also, The supplied remote is next to useless but USB mice and keyboards work flawlessly with the unit and there is a very good remote control app for xbmc for android phones. Eventually, I achieved my HD/surround sound nirvana by flashing the box with the XDA Developers MX Linux which gives proper hardware video acceleration, but I believe that this has voided my warranty. Also I now don't have the Android functionality, but that is no issue for me. In summary, it works great out of the box, but is not a "proper" HD/RAW surround sound device unless you are prepared to take the plunge and void your warranty. *** out of the box ***** with xbmc Linux :)

This is a great little player which will play every sort of file i'v tried with the added bonus of an andriod operating system, the andriod system may take awhile to get used to but once you have used it a couple of times its simple to use,the air mouse or remote with full keyboard is again takes time to master if you haven't used a playstation wireless control or similar
