Despite regualrly pointing you all to our whole page dedicated to PCs for Fortnite, as well as our high-end Reign Gaming PCs, it's still not been good enough. You asked, we've heard (many, many times), and so we're finally doing it - a completely custom Fortnite PC build to chew through frames and put those benchmarks to shame. It's got it all; performance, style and that all important RGB. It can even do the Electro Shuffle! Okay, well maybe it can't do that. But you sure will be with this ultimate custom Fortnite gaming PC, offering well over 60 frames at high settings. Hell, we've even picked out a monitor, headphones and the very chair you'll be sitting on. Everything is linked too so there is absolutely no hassle whatsoever (if you should so decide to purchase any of these lovely products). So without further ado, let's get into the best PC build for Fortnite.
Up first, it's the case we're housing this beast in. We've chosen the Meshify C from Fractal, a beautifully designed case which ticks our boxes for both aesthetics and airflow, with support for 240mm AIOs and a full-size motherboard, plus a full-length PSU shroud. There's also plenty of space behind the motherboard for keeping all those pesky cables hidden. And as for our motherboard...
The foundation for our build, the Gigabyte Z490 Vision G keeps us on that white theme, as well as having in-built RGB, and plenty of RGB headers which we'll be needing later. It's also got a decent heatsink and 12 digital phases for our VRMs, all very important for our 10th Gen Intel CPU, especially if we want to be hitting those higher clock speeds. Speaking of which...
Yes, that's right, arguably the best Intel processor of the current line-up, and for gaming especially, the 10600K hits that sweet spot for cores/threads and clock speeds, all nestled into a tasty price point (and in our case, motherboard too). This little blue boy will keep your frame rates high and workloads speedy, and will pair perfectly with your dedicated graphics, which in this particular build, takes the shape of a...
Very capable, and very cool, this Gigabyte 2060 Super Windforce will deliver all the frames to keep you competitive when it comes to building, dancing, dodging and shooting. No need for 2070s or 2080s here (which would be huge overkill), it's got plenty enough CUDA cores, solid clocks and looks great too - really, what more could you want?
How about some sexy white RAM with integrated RGB? And 16GB of it too. Might not be at the top of your list, but it sure is important, and with some great speeds and low latency, you'll really be getting every last available frame with these awesome Corsair Vengeance RGB Pros.
But with all this hardware so far, things are going to start getting hot real quick, which is where our next parts come in...
If you've been keeping up with the specs and benchmarks with Intel's 10th Gen, then you'll know they can get a little toasty when hitting those peak speeds - well, we want to be hitting them all the time. Enter Corsair's beautiful H100i 240mm AIO. This gorgeous AIO will keep that 10600K extremely chill, meaning you'll be hitting that 4.8GHz as often as possible. But let us not forget the fresh air for those fans. Be sure to pair them with another 3.
How about these?
These beauties are the same model as the ones on your AIO, so you'll be sure to have some nice and equalised air flow blowing through that sweet and airy mesh front. Say goodbye to all that nasty heat build-up, the direct result of gaming like an absolute champ of course...
But before you can get to your 360-no-scopes and pro Flossing, you're going to want Fortnite installed first. Which is where our next component fits in...
A lightning fast NVMe M.2 SSD will have you jumping out the battle bus in no time! Plus it's got plenty of room for all your player data, as well as your OS and all those boring everyday files - but who cares about that eh? If you do, and are worried you won't have enough, then why not pair it with a Samsung 860 Evo 500GB SSD? You'll be set for quite some time. That's for sure.
There is one more pretty important piece of this puzzle to go, and probably the least exciting sadly...
Yup, it's the PSU. I know, very unexciting in comparison to the rest. But none of it would work without it! And hey, it's white too, so very on brand with our aesthetic. It's also got 850W on offer, which will more than cover our needs, even with all of that RGB we've got going on!
With our PC parts picked, all that's left is some matching peripherals. First and foremost, we'll be needing something to take advantage of all this hardware... a screen obviously...
It's a glorious, curved, 1080p dream, with a 144Hz refresh rate to take full advantage of the raw GPU power of our 2060 Super. We could have gone with 60Hz, but why cap ourselves out? Every frame counts in competitive shooters, and Fortnite isn't any different. What's more, we'd just be wasting all the power we've crafted from all this awesome hardware - time to join the 120+ crew!
But what about our inputs?
A Ducky of course! Mechanical keyboards really are unbeatable, and this 65% RGB Keyboard will give you plenty of space for flicks of the wrists and freedom of movement, making it one of the best keyboards for Fortnite, in our minds. If the colour's a little on the bland side for your tastes though, check out these Ultra Violet PBT Double-shot Keycaps which'll bring some Fortnite themed flair - then you can match it up with all that RGB!
And also...
An ambidextrous, wired mouse designed especially for competitive shooters, this bad boy looks fantastic, has that all important RGB, 8 configurable buttons total, and 12,400 DPI, giving you the freedom to 720-no-scope if you feel like it... (tweet us if you actually pull it off using this mouse).
But what good is a satisfying pro-play if you can't hear the sounds of your adversaries losing?
A fantastic headset with a solid build and crystal-clear sound, you'll hear every round fired from anywhere on the map with these sleek, white, surround sound headphones. What's even better, this headset isn't just for PC - it's also compatible with Xbox One and the PS4 too, meaning you can use it for Fortnite almost anywhere! Possibly most importantly though, it's super comfy, making it easy to game for hours on end without that awful earache some headsets can cause. For us, that's why the Arctis 3 is the best headset for Fortnite!
But where to sit whilst you play...
We said it at the start, and we're here to deliver - it's a ludicrously comfy gaming chair to keep you feeling fresh, flexible and extremely comfortable for those long, long Fortnite marathons with friends. If you don't believe us, ask Jerry to send you pics of the marketing department on Twitter - we all use them in the office because they really are that comfortable! They also go great with the Nitro Concepts D16E Electric Adjustable Gaming Desk...
Of course, with all this hardware and peripherals too, you'll need somewhere to show it all off. Well, the Nitro Concepts D16E has got you covered. Whether you're sitting down or need to stretch your legs and stand for a while, this fully adjustable desk can be easily set to whatever height you need it to be, all with the press of a button. It's luxurious, it's sexy, and it's the perfect way to finish up any gaming set up - just ask Willian.
Phew, that was a lot to cover! But that's everything you need, from the best graphics card for Fortnite, all the way to the best headset for Fortnite, and even the chair and desk too! Now get out there and get gaming!
Whilst you're at it, why not show us your best Fortnite dance moves on Twitter? Or tell us what you think of our custom Fortnite build - find us @NovatechLtd?
Not in the market for a custom build? Maybe a little too rich for your tastes?
