A new Leviathan joins the Reign Club!
We teamed up with Twitch and Youtube sensation, Leahviathan to create our brand-new gaming and streaming PC, The Reign Sentry Lux
Being a Gamer on Twitch or YouTube is pretty great. You get to play all of your favourite titles, interact with the community and just have some all-round good times. For the most part, it really is all fun and games and in the best kind of way. But behind the scenes, there's a lot of important hardware running the show (quite literally), and the more demanding the games get, and the more dedicated you are to making a smooth, seamless stream that's pleasing to watch, the trickier things get for that hardware.
With over 160,000 Twitch followers to keep entertained, and wanting to stream in 4K 60fps, Leah was in need of a new rig to help her out with the playing, streaming, editing and uploading process. We got together with ASUS' Republic of Gamers to design the brand-new Reign Sentry Lux Gaming PC for Leah, from the ground up.
Created with 4K gaming and content creation in mind, the Sentry Lux is equipped with the Intel i7 10700K, kept cool by an NZXT Kraken X63 280mm AIO, and ASUS' GeForce RTX 2080 Super Evo OC Graphics Card, all mounted on the ROG STRIX Z490-F Gaming Motherboard to tie them all together and ensure that the Lux really packs a proper punch in any AAA title, competitive FPS or MOBA.
For Leah, the Reign Sentry Lux offers seamless, unimpeded 4K gaming in whichever titles she chooses to play, whilst also giving her the ability to stream, edit and upload too, alongside her second ASUS machine. Plus, with its subtle RGB and sleek, moody tempered glass panelling in the front and sides of the NZXT H510 Elite, it fits in nicely to her maturing studio set-up, emanating a modest but powerful glow.
In her video review detailing the new setup, Leah said "I've been trying to upgrade to a dual PC stream setup for a year now. It got to the point where the one rig was struggling with all the demands I've been throwing at it; a webcam, 4K capture card, a lot of video and browser sources, OBS trying to encode and stream everything and also wanting to play my games at a good quality without dipping below 60 FPS... it was just too much.
So now the old ROG PC does the work of the stream, all the encoding and making the stream look good, whilst Novatech's Reign Sentry Lux runs the game and makes the whole gaming experience really great. So now I have a really beautiful, smooth gaming experience, without being annoyed by constant frame drops and lag - meaning the stream I'm outputting is of the highest quality."
