The Stream Team
Leahviathan
Leahviathan, aka Leah, has been livestreaming since 2015, kicking off her Twitch career with the
ever-popular Destiny and eventually growing her streams to include a wide variety of new games and genres
including Halo, Doom, and more recently, Call Of Duty: Warzone and Valorant. She has previously worked with
XBOX UK as a content creator and community manager, bringing her charisma and charm to various livestream
experiences as a spectacular host and entertainer.
Chuffsters is all about FIFA Ultimate Teams; he practically lives and breathes it! Covering just about
anything you could think of, he’s always uploading content, whether it be through Twitch or Youtube, and he
even co-hosts the weekly podcast Two Old FUTs, just in case you couldn’t get enough of his FIFA content
already! So, whether you’re trying to brush up on your penalties or need to know the best team builds for
the FUT big leagues, Chuffsters has you covered.
FUT FG is another FIFA Ultimate Teams fanatic, and you can find him opening packs galore almost every day of
the week via his Twitch and YouTube Channels. He’s a proper cheeky Mancunian at heart, with a contagious
grin that’ll make you almost as happy as seeing his reaction to packing TOTS Kevin De Bruyne! Managed by
Stellar Esports (part of the ICM Stellar Group), he’s now officially joined us here at Reign and we couldn’t
be more delighted!
He’s a self-proclaimed “full-time Father, full-time Husband, and part-time Sim Racing YouTuber,” but with
lightning-fast lap times, you’d be forgiven for thinking otherwise! Eerieissss (pronounced, Here he is,
without all the H’s), aka Rory, is a YouTube sim racing content creator, posting regular videos and
livestreams on an array of online racing titles such as Gran Turismo Sport, iRacing and Assetto Corsa
Competizione. If you’re looking for fast-paced thrills and have an affinity for all things cars and race
tracks, then Rory’s Youtube channel is the one for you!
The Reign Gaming team are fanatics for esports and have always had close ties to the esports scene; from

and even our own Reign Gaming esports team in-house! That’s why all our Reign Gaming PCs are designed with
fast-paced gaming in mind.

Gaming performance is affected primarily by the GPU (Graphics Processing Unit) and CPU (Central Processing Unit).
Depending on what genre of games you play and what experience you’re after, will determine which you should prioritise.
If you enjoy playing single-player games at 60-144fps with graphics maxed out, then you should go for a Reign Gaming PC with a more powerful GPU, such as the NVIDIA RTX 3080.
But if fast-paced multiplayer shooters and MOBAs are more your thing, then don’t hesitate to opt for a system with a more powerful CPU too.
An Intel Core i7 or AMD Ryzen 7 processor will ensure you can maintain extremely high framerates when paired with a decent GPU (at least an NVIDIA RTX 3060 Ti),
meaning you can take advantage of super high-refresh monitors and displays.
Something to bear in mind with desktop gaming PCs is that, provided the system isn’t using awkward proprietary hardware, it’s possible to upgrade your gaming computer whenever you want.
We pride ourselves on using no proprietary hardware in any of our Reign Gaming PCs, using only “off the shelf” components that any DIY builder could buy.
That makes our systems extraordinarily easy to upgrade in the future, should you wish.
And lastly, it’s a PC! That means it can do everything else besides gaming, whether it be for work or leisure.
No limited functionality or locking into specific brand ecosystems, just total unrestrained freedom!
If you want to ensure that your Reign Gaming PC installs new games as fast as possible, you’ll need to ensure you choose or configure one of our systems with enough SSD storage to install the games you love.
NVMe M.2 SSDs have the fastest read and write speeds, whilst standard 2.5” SATA SSDs are slower but still considerably faster than old school HDDs.
Once your Reign Gaming PC arrives, you’ll also need to have a stable, reliable, and preferably wired internet connection, providing at least 10-15Mbps of dedicated, uncontested bandwidth.
The great thing about a Gaming PC is that it doesn’t have an expiration date per se. In theory, provided the hardware is still running healthily, it could last you as long as 10 years, maybe even more.
After all, the beauty of a gaming computer is that if parts fail, they can just be replaced.
The most likely reason you’ll need to replace your Gaming PC is because of a change in the games you play, or how you want to play those games.
In other words, although your Gaming PC could probably still run the latest games in 5 years’ time, you may have to start lowering some in-game graphical settings to achieve playable framerates.
Alternatively, you may decide that you’d like to start playing titles at 1440p or 4K, instead of 1080p, in which case you would almost certainly need to upgrade your GPU, at the very least.
Historically, it has always been cheaper to build your own gaming desktop PC. However, in times where there have been severe component shortages and high-demand, it has often been cheaper, or at least the same in cost, to buy a prebuilt Gaming PC.
It’s also worth considering that the slightly increased costs of prebuilts generally reflects the time and labour to build the system, rather than a mark-up on components.
Equally, when it comes to our Reign Gaming PCs, that additional cost will also secure you a comprehensive 3-year warranty, as well as lifetime UK-based telephone tech support – something you wouldn’t have if you were to build your own system.
The answer depends on who you ask, but with all the benefits of a gaming PC, we would argue that the answer will always be a resounding yes.
Although the performance of consoles has massively improved with the newest generation, they still aren’t any match for a high-end gaming desktop.
Whilst consoles might offer some competition for low-mid range systems, our Reign Gaming PCs still have many compelling reasons to buy one over a console:
You can take full advantage of your Gaming PC's potential by using the latest DisplayPort technology with compatible monitors for seamless high-refresh gaming experiences.
All of our systems are easily upgradeable, meaning you can later improve their performance by upgrading the graphics card, processor, or RAM. Even your cooling, motherboard, and power supply can all be upgraded!
This also increases their value since you can upgrade only what you need to, rather than the entire system, as well as selling on your old components through online marketplaces like Ebay
Upgrading storage is not only as easy as new generation consoles, but also more flexible, both in cost and scalability;
you get to choose which brand you want, what capacity you get, and whether the storage is NVMe/M.2 SSDs, 2.5” SATA SSDs, or affordable high-capacity HDDs, all of which can be either internal or external devices.
Gaming Storefronts on PC are far more varied and frequently offer better sales than traditional console storefronts, as well as having access to all the same services as Xbox, including cross-play and Games Pass, plus previously Exclusive Sony titles now making their way onto Steam too. You basically get the best of both worlds!
Speaking of the best of both worlds, you also get to choose what gaming peripherals and accessories you use! Want a sweet high-end gaming headset? A mechanical keyboard?
How about the choice of both an Xbox or PlayStation controller, or even a custom gamepad? You can have them all!
And last but not least, and obviously most importantly, we have RGB!
Yes! All of our Reign Gaming PCs and Laptops are available for purchase through finance. For Gaming PCs and Laptops over £800 (Inc. VAT) you can even choose Hitachi’s interest free option, allowing you to make interest free payments for the first 6 months after your purchase.
Yes. If for some reason you needed to leave your Gaming PC on overnight, perhaps to allow a really large game to install ready for the following day, you could do so.
PC hardware has plenty of fail-safes built-in to protect against any unforeseen events such as power surges or short-circuiting.
